SHALEV HULIO

Shalev Hulio is the Co-founder and CEO of NSO Group.

He is a serial entrepreneur and investor who has founded several hi-tech companies in the fields of Media, Telecom, and Cyber, a specialist in cyber security, big data, market analyses and sales.

Shalev is also one of the founders of “Founders Group” a private investment firm that invests in early stage startups.

He served as a Major in the IDF Search and Rescue unit where he continues to serve in the Army Reserve and has been involved in a number of search and rescue operations in both Israel and abroad.

OMRI LAVIE

Omri Lavie, a serial entrepreneur and investor, co-founded NSO Group. Omri led NSOs worldwide business development, spearheaded NSO Group's US presence and served as it's first CEO. Omri also founded several technology companies in various fields, specializing in Enterprise SW, Telecom, Cyber intelligence & Cyber Security.

Omri is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Founders Group, a private investment firm which invests in early stage startups.

He is currently the CEO of Orchestra Group, a holistic cyber security platform for proactive cyber defense.

Also an active philanthropist continuously supporting numerous non-profits in education, cancer wellness, elderly and child care.

ASHER LEVY

Asher Levy is the Executive Chairman of NSO Group.
Mr Levy works closely with CEO and Co-Founder Shalev Hulio, the group’s broader management team and its Board of Directors to support the further growth of the Company.

Asher Levy was the CEO of Orbotech from 2013 until 2019, leading it from a market capitalization of approximately $360 million until its sale to KLA-Tencor for $3.4 billion in 2019.
Mr Levy has a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School.‎

STEFAN KOWSKI

Stefan Kowski is a Founding Partner at Novalpina Capital, an independent European Investment Firm. Previously, Stefan served in senior roles at Centerbridge Partners and TPG Capital where he completed investments in Europe, China, India, Russia & the CIS.

Stefan received an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar. He graduated summa cum laude from the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck, where he holds Masters degrees in Economics and Finance.

STEPHEN PEEL

Stephen Peel is a Founding Partner at Novalpina Capital. Previously, for over 17 years, he was a partner at TPG, one of the largest global private investment firms.
Mr Peel founded and co-headed TPG’s European business from 1997 to 2007 and was a member of global management and investment committees. From 2008 to 2014 he lead the firm's activities across Asia.
Prior to TPG, Stephen was in the Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs from 1989 to 1997.Stephen received an M.A. from Cambridge University, holds a Master of Advanced Studies degree from the Jackson Institute of Global Affairs at Yale University and has been a visiting fellow at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University.

GÜNTER SCHMID

Günter Schmid is a Senior Advisor to Novalpina Capital and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Olympic Entertainment Group AS. His areas of expertise include governance, risk management and compliance, finance and M&A.; Günter held various management positions in the bwin Group. Prior to that Günter has worked for Apax Partners as investment manager and McKinsey & Company as management consultant.

Günter graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994 as Doctor of Philosophy and from TU München in 1991 as Diplom-Chemiker. He was Feodor-Lynen Postdoctoral Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation at the University of California, Berkeley and also A.D. Little Research Fellow at MIT.

MICKAEL BETITO

Mickael Betito is a Principal at Novalpina Capital. Prior to joining Novalpina, from 2015 to 2017, Mickael was an Investment Professional at Oaktree Capital within the European Principal Group in Paris, encompassing Oaktree’s private equity activities. Previously, Mickael worked at Goldman Sachs in the French Coverage team of the Investment Banking Division in Paris and in the Leveraged Finance Industrial Team in London.
Mickael received his Master of Science in Management from ESSEC Business School.

GERHARD SCHMIDT

Gerhard Schmidt is the Managing Partner of the German offices of the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and is one of the leading private equity and M&A; lawyers in Europe. In addition, he has extensive experience in Restructuring work.
Gerhard is a graduate of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (law degree 1982, Dr. jur. 1984) and also attended the Universities of Lausanne and Strasbourg. He completed his business administration studies at INSEAD in France (MBA 1984) and was admitted to practice in Germany in 1986. In addition, Gerhard became licensed as a tax advisor in 1988.
