Katie Chiles Ottenweller
Katie serves as Vote Solar’s Southeast Director, focusing on advancing solar policy in Florida, Georgia and the Gulf States. Katie first got hooked on solar as an attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center, where she led their regional Solar Initiative for five years. Prior to that, she spent a year working on environmental justice issues in Philadelphia.
Katie originally hails from Tallahassee, Florida, and is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Columbia University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Georgia. She now lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children. In their free time, they like to trade life in the big city for weekends at her parents’ blueberry farm in Miccosukee, Florida.
