Working with the Calgary business community, opinion leaders, academics, and all levels of government to create an environment that allows businesses and individuals to flourish. My role with the Chamber's policy department is threefold: 1. Policy formulation - Composing briefing memos, pre-budget submissions, extensive research projects, along with research blogs. My work has focused on government finances and fiscal decisions, energy and environment policies, and trade-driven growth.2. Advocacy - Regularly engaging with policymakers and opinion leaders on matters concerning Calgary's business community. My advocacy efforts have been channeled through in-person interactions, government submissions, reports, blogs, and social media posts.3. Staying on top of current affairs - Regularly supporting the Calgary Chamber research and current affairs activities including issue identification, solution formulation, and communication responses.

Throughout the work fellowship I was tasked with producing an in depth report identifying and analyzing the impact of interprovincial trade barriers. I was also tasked with producing briefing memos for staff lawyers and superiors, ensuring they had the information they required to produce their reports. I also produced op-eds regarding social and policy issues that were published in newspapers across Canada.

Assisted in the development of the Canadian Elections Database. The database is a composition of Canadian federal and provincial elections results since Confederation. My role was to make sure the data entered into the database was consistent with the raw data.
