The Regional Association of West Quebec is a not-for-profit association dedicated to serving and supporting the minority English-speaking community (ESC) in the Outaouais region of Quebec across the river from Ottawa. It plays a significant role in initiatives that support the ESC in the Outaouais by means of advocacy, networking, information and programs for youth, seniors and more.

This group is a platform to inform, connect and organize Canadians who are committed to combating the rise of hate speech, acts of hate, and the targeting and othering of various Canadian minority communities by white supremacist and far right bigotry, racism and xenophobia.

Organized and chaired an annual fundraising event to heighten awareness of heart disease and stroke symptoms in women (2009, 2010, 2011). Success of event resulted in funds being earmarked for research.

Co-ordinated public events, liaised with local media covering the election, and worked with the chapter president to effectively manage volunteer resources.

Guest instructor for high school level courses in Canadian politics and civics. Used an interactive pedagogical approach to engage students in debating current affairs and public policy issues, as well as the structure and nature of federal, provincial and municipal governments in Canada, and the importance of citizen involvement in a democratic society.
