  • Combatting Terrorism Act (Bill S-7)

    Drafted a submission to Members of Parliament and Senators on the issue of Bill S-7, the “Combatting Terrorism Act” on behalf of a community group concerned about possible violations of civil liberties under this legislation.

  • Dinner-Dance for Heart & Stroke

    Working with a handful of volunteers organized and chaired the Spring Fling Dinner-Dance for Heart & Stroke fund-raiser. Developed the proposal for this fund-raising event, received the support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation (Ottawa), then planned and managed all major aspects of the event including: venue/contractor management, ticket sales, marketing and entertainment, silent auction contributions, and volunteer recruitment and coaching.
