Cliff Fryers focuses most of his time on enterprises held by his family holding company, Castleavery Merchants Inc. These include Kanata Developments Inc., a storage company; Stampede Entertainment Inc., a live presentation company; and Castleavery Hospitality Ventures Inc., a boutique hotel company.
Cliff played an active role in the creation and development of the Reform Party of Canada serving in a variety of national organizational and fundraising capacities. From June 1997 to June 2000 Mr. Fryers was Chief of Staff to Preston Manning, then Leader of the Official Opposition. Cliff would chair the United Alternative Steering Committee which led to the Canadian Alliance and ultimately the Conservative Party of Canada.
He continues as Chairman of the Board of the Manning Foundation for Democratic Education and as a Director of Canada Strong and Free Network (formerly the Manning Centre of which he was one of the founders).
